True sexual health is promoted by clinical advice to always practise safe sex. For example using a condom will help to prevent STIs and unwanted pregnancy. This is vitally important if you have more than one sexual partner.

Protecting your physical sexual health is your own personal responsibility. Another aspect of sexual health is to have respect for all relationships whether it be gay or straight.
